The seat collar is made from beautifully machined high strength 7000 series aluminium (the same type as is used for Thomson’s stems and seatposts) and is designed to clamp the seatpost consistently and effectively with just a very low torque (2.8Nm), making it a great option for delicate carbon posts/frames. This seat collar is a premium option which will not break the bank – or your carbon post! A win-win option.
